As the leader in its field, IIFM is concerned with pushing the frontiers of knowledge, providing specialized knowledge to various parts of the system which related to this field and helping the world of practice to use this knowledge.
In order to appreciate the understanding and application of these new aspects in the Indian forestry management scenario, it is imperative to build the capacity of different stakeholders. Thus this activity has been identified as one of the thrust areas. The International Conference on “Awareness & Dissemination of Indigenous Traditional Knowledge for Sustainability of NTFP Resources” was designed to provide an opportunity to the academicians, researchers, frontline forest officers on the Indigenous Traditional Knowledge for Sustainability of NTFP Resources and creation of awareness on the subject.
